  • Through support from the Calgary Firefighters Association we have access to get our members in with WGM Psychology. To access this resource, you can contact the Peer Support Team: peersupport@airdriefirefighters.com to start the simple and fast process to get yourself an appointment here

The Employee Assistance Program is covered by our benefits, WGM is covered through our extended health care spending account. Which route you go is up to you - what ever you are comfortable with at the time you need to talk to someone. If financing for you or your family is ever a problem in any aspect for this, please speak to a member of your elected Board as we sometimes have access to programs that you may not be aware of.

UPDATE: WGM Psychological Services is now covered for 5 visits under the FSEAP (employee assistance program). In order to access this please follow the instructions listed here. Normal referral processes used by the Peer Support Team can still initiate access to the WGM facility, however a couple of extra steps are required to secure the funding for care beyond the first couple of appointments covered by Manulife.
