On July 1st, 2017, during the Airdrie Canada Day Parade the Airdrie Professional Firefighters Association (APFFA) collected 870 lbs in non-perishable food donations – equivalent to $2,175 along with $700.00 in cash donations; matched by the Firefighters Association, and $2000 from Mattamy Homes for the Airdrie Food Bank.

This creates a total of $5,575.00 raised for the Airdrie Food Bank at one of their greatest times of need.

Thank you to all those who supported the parade, including our sponsor Mattamy Homes, and the City of Airdrie.

We were also thrilled to have Airdrie Fire Department veteran, Association Charter Member, retired Paramedic Steve Scott as well as 2016 Junior Fire Chief Bosco join us.
